Lewis Peeples married Jane Hicks, daughter of Robert Hicks from Hanover, Virginia. Lewis peeples father of Tabitha Vaughan Love, family of Luhannah Hutchins Middleton. They were in Rockingham and Guilford Co.s North Carolina.
The Williams were also in Hanover at one time, may be the same Williams that were part of Mary Oliver Pegram Middleton's family.

He patented other land in several counties in Southside VA subsequent to 1735 (Cavaliers & Pioneers), and in 1757, he appears in deeds in Granville Co., NC. He died testate in Granville Co., NC in 1759. Two years later his widow Ursley married one Joseph Reid, residence unknown.
