    • Carlton Walker "Tooter" Willingham Sept. 19, 1925-Aug. 16, 2006 Born on the Walker Ranch in Shackelford County, Carlton attended and graduated from Lueders High School. He then joined up and was in the Army Air Corp. After his honorable discharge, he attended Oklahoma University and received his petroleum engineering degree. He discovered and developed several fields for General Crude Oil Co. He later built World Mud Corp. Late into a successful career in the oil business he was diagnosed with Alzheimer disease. His last years were very happy living at Merrill Gardens Assisted Living in Round Rock where he attended many baseball games at Dell Diamond. If he was ever out of town on business and any of his boys had games, he made sure he was always on the plane home. His priorities were simple. God, family, work. He gave all of his time, energy and money to all three. He is survived by a son Russell Willingham of Giddings, Tx a son Steve Willingham of Arlington, Tx and a daughter Lisa Patterson of Manor, Tx.He is missed and was the anchor that kept us all from drifting too far from the values that he lived by and raised a family with. Burial of his ashes will be at Fort Phantom Hill Cemetery on October 25, 2013 at 10:00am. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/reporternews/obituary.aspx?pid=167606259#sthash.OnMD8J9m.dpuf
