"Eli Garnet's will was probated in Columbia Co., GA in 1811 . Elijah Willingham in right of his wife Elizabeth, and, Th omas Willingham in right of his wife Sarah Catherine were l isted among the heirs. Elijah has to be William's (Willia m Willingham of 1797 will in Columbia Co., GA; Eli Garnet w as one of the administrators) son and Thomas probably was t oo."

Then received of Zachariah Garnett as administ rator in right of his wife Susannah late Susannah Foster o n the estate of the late Hardy Foster, decd. and as guardia n to my wife Lucinda late Lucinda Foster one hundred and fo rty-nine acres of land and four hundred dollars in full fo r my distributive share and dividend of all and singular m y distributive share of the estate of the said Hardy Foster , decd. and hereby fully acquit and fully exouerate the sai d Zachariah Garnett in full both as guardian to my wife an d as administrator of said estate.

Who did Nelson Garnett marry? Why did Martha Brasfield Will ingham Spiers loan Nelson Garnett money without interest--- the only other person listed in the appraisal of her estat e to whom she loaned money interest free was her son, Isaac?

Willingham Spires? Isaac Willingham, son of Martha Spires , was the administrator of the estate of Nelson Garnett i n 1847.
In Eli Garnett's will of 6 Sept 1853 he names his wife Pati ence and minor heirs Nancy Jane Willingham, William N. Will ingham, and George C. Willingham. William Q. Spires (?desce ndant of Hezekiah Spires--need to check) and Benjamin F. Be ntly are test. guardians of these minor heirs from 5 June 1 855 to 30 June 1863.(I do not have a copy of Eli Garnett' s will.)
There is a bond on Isaac Willingham 2 Oct 1854 in Monroe Co ., GA as natural guardian of his children Nancy Jane, Willi am N. and George C. Willingham. (I have copy.)
